All spectators at this year’s Open Championship at St Andrews can use their course entry tickets to gain free access to the British Golf Museum which is directly behind the R&A clubhouse. The museum, which has won many national and international awards, uses compact disc systems to allow instant access to old photographs, film and video footage and touch screens with well researched commentaries add to the visual impact, giving life and movement to a unique collection of clubs, balls, trophies, paintings and golfing memorabilia.
