More Than 7000 People Will Help Run The Open

From its humble beginnings in 1860, when only eight players competed for the first championship on a cold October day at Prestwick, the Open has grown into one of the sporting world’s greatest and most prestigious events which now involves an army of more than 7,000 volunteers and paid employees.
