PAUL LAWRIE NEPHEW WINS NE DISTRICT YOUTHS TITLE
Sean Lawrie, nephew of Paul, won the North-east District Under=21 youths golf
championship over his home course at Portlethen Golf Club today (Sunday).
Lawrie can only play Portlethen during his summer holidays from Midland College, Texas where he is one of the leading members
of the golf team.
Sean had rounds of 69 and 70 for three-under-par 139 to finish a shot ahead of two other home-club players Ben Muttay (70-70) and
Sam Kiloh (68-72).
Murray was awarded second prize by virtue of having a better second round than Kiloh.
