ADAM DUNTON LEADS AT HALFWAY IN SOUTH EAST DISTRICT OPEN

Last year's winner, Adam Dunton (McDonald Ellon) leads the South East District Open field with Sunday's two rounds to come.
Dunton had Saturday scores of 67 and 65 over the par-69 West Linton Golf Club layout for a two-under-=par tally of 136.
There was an Aberdeenshire 1-2-3 at the end of the first round of the 72-hole SGU Order of Merit event.
Kevin Duncan (Cruden Bay) led on three-under 66, a shot ahead of Adam Dunton (pictured right) with John Duff (Newmacfhar0 lying third on 68.
On 69 were Craig Howie (Peebles), Kyle McClung (Wigtownshire Co) and Graham Robertson (Silverknowes).
Scott Borrowman (Dollar) was one of five players on 70. The others included SGU Order of Merit title contender James White (Lundin).
White's only rival for the title in this the last counting event, Jack McDonald (Kilmarnock Barassie), winner of last weekend's North of Scotland Open at Nairn and, before that, the Tennant Cup, shot a first-round 71 at West Linton.
The first round cut fell at 152 and the second-round CSS was 73 (reduction only).
There is a long delay in producing the second-round totals so it my be Sunday morning before we displaythem.
