CRAIG LAWRIE WINS DEESIDE STROKE BY SEVEN
Craig Lawrie, the elder of Paul Lawrie's two sons, won the Deeside Golf Club stroke-play championship this week by seven strokes.
He had rounds of 74, 72, 73 and 71 for a total of 290.
Lawrie is the club's junior champion.
Stroke-play runner David Halliday scored 71, 76, 74 and 76 for 297.
