MERCHISTON BOYS TOP OF THE CLASS IN
WIN OVER POWERFUL LOTHIANS SELECT

Merchiston Golf Academy scored a very good win over the powerful Lothians Select at Kingsacre on Saturday when gale-force winds forced the organisers to play the ties over nine holes.
Merchiston won 5-3, a victory described by coach Alan Murdoch as "fantastic."
"This was an excellent exercise and a great learning experience for our boys. It really show sme they are developing as golfers, improving their skills and becoming all-round competitors," said Murdoch.
Wins from  Charlie Yuille , Andrew White , Leonard Walters , Kayau Siu and young Rory Thain gave Merchiston overall victory against a Lothian team containing three scratch players.
Results (Merchiston boys first):

MERCHISTON 5, LOTHIANS SELECT 3
Murray Naysmith lost to Connor Good 2 and 1.
