FRASER MANN, ALASTAIR WEBSTER, GRAEME BROWN HIT 66s

MANN, WEBSTER AND BROWN TIE FOR

MIDLANDS ALLIANCE PRIZE AT CRIEFF

Three professionals - Fraser Mann (Carnoustie), Alastair Webster (Edzell) and Montrose assistant Graeme Brown - tied for the top scratch prize with five-under-par 66s on a shortened winter course in perfect scoring conditions for this week's Midland Golfers' Alliance competition at Crieff Golf Club, Perthshire.
Bill Crosbie, who plays off five at Blairgowrie, won the leading handicap award by two strokes with a net 64.
