JONES, WATSON SHARE CLUBHOUSE
LEAD IN PHOENIX OPEN
Aussie Matt Jones and American left-hander Bubba Watson are the joint leaders in the clubhouse on 12-under-par 130 after two rounds of the Phoenix Open at Scottsdale, Arizona.
Jones has had a pair of six-under 65s, Watson a 64 and a 66.
At the time of writing, the second day's play still has some way to go.
Scot Martin Laird is one of many who have to return their second-round score. He had a first-round 67.
Projected cut is for one-under-par 141 to be the limit mark.
That will mean an early departure for Padraig Harrington and Lee Westwood, both of whom are on 142.
The Irishman had scores of 73-69, the Englishman 67-75.
