JAMES ROSS FROM EDINBURGH TIED 37th AT END OF ROUND 1

ENGLAND'S EASON SHARES LEAD IN 

JONES INVITATIONAL CUP 

Gregory Eason from Leicester, a final-year student at Central Florida University, is in a triple tie for the lead on two-under-par 70 at the end of the first round of the Jones Invitational Cup 72-hole stroke-play tournament at Ocean Forest Golf Club, Georgia.
Over a longish course of 7,321yd with a par of 72, Eason and two American college players, Michael Johnson and Curtis Thompson shared the pole position at the end of the first day.
David Boote from Wales is tied fifth on 72.
James Ross (Royal Burgess), the only Scot in the field shot a 76 to be T37.
