There was an Australian 1-2-3 finish to the Australian Master of the Amateurs international 72-hole stroke-play championship at Royal Melbourne today.
Simon Viitakangas won with a six-under-par total of 282 (70-70-70-74) by two shots from Todd Sinnott with Lucas Herbert third on 286.
Leading Engish player was Ryan Evans (Wellingborough) in joint ninth place on 289.
Harry Casey from Engfield came joint 32nd on 298 while Seb Crookall-Nixon from Workington finished 49th in an elite field of 53. He shot 23 over par 311.
