Bryan Fotheringham secured a one-stroke victory over his home course with a one under par 68 at Inverness in Saturday's North Scottish Golfers' Alliance fixture. 
Birdies at the second, third, fifth and 16th were partly cancelled out by bogeys at the first, seventh and 17th. 
"Collapse" of the day came from Bruce Thomson (Torvean)  who stood five under par after 12 only to drop seven shots from there to record a 71.
Lowest handicap score was Mike Lyall who "lost" a ball at the 14th (he went back to play another only to hit that shot just feet from the original which was part camouflaged by leaves on the fairway, yet he still recorded a net 64 off 14.
