United States are heading for a big victory margin as they win back the Walker Cup from the grasp of Great Britain and Ireland at the National Golf Links of America, Southampton in New York State.
At the end of Saturday's play, the halfway point in the two-day match, the United States led 8-4.
The Sunday morning foursomes were shared at two wins apiece, making the overall scoreline: USA 10, GB and Ireland 6.
The closing 10 Sunday afternoon singles have gone mostly the way of the Americans who have won six of them to GB and I's three wins by Matthew Fitzpatrick (the Englishman who holds the US amateur title), Callum Shinkwin and US-based Irishman Kevin Phelan.
One match, involving Ireland's Gavin Moynihan, still to finish at the time of writing. They are all square after 15 holes.
So the scoreline reads:
United States 16, GB and I 9
with one tie to finish
