This was a very close match with a nail-biting finish play-off won by Callum Kinnear on the 19th. Both teams struggled with windy conditions on a difficult course where the strength of the longer hitters from Murrayshall gave them the edge over the Blairgowrie boys' steady striking and excellent short game.

Sandy Shackles and Stuart White played for Murrayshall in the earlier rounds with wins over Blairgowrie and Crieff, with the final team beating Auchterarder 4-1 in the semi-final.
