Hosted by Perth and Kinross County Association, and played over the PGA course at Gleneagles, the Frank Thomson Trophy is an Under-15 boys' triangular competition between the hosts, Fife and Clackmannan,
Each area provides a team of five (best four scores to count) playing a Stableford competition.
The 2013 event was keenly contested and although the conditions were extremely tough with strong winds which made putting extremely difficult.
Fife won convincingly over the 10 holes played. Best score of the day came from Greg Cessford (Fife) with 17 points.
