Bearsden’s Ewen Ferguson was crowned as British Boys’ champion while another rising star, Bradley Neil, impressed European Tour Rookie of the year Peter Uihlein to the extent the American donated £10,000 to the Scottish Golf Union to aid the Blairgowrie teenager’s development.
