Jeff Wright from Forres with a one under par 70 won Saturday's North Scottish Golfers' Alliance fixture at Fortrose & Rosemarkie by one shot. Birdies at the 1st, 6th, 11th and 16th were countered by dropped shots at the 8th, 12th and 18th. Alex Mair from Moray had 5 birdies - 4 going out in a half of 33 and one coming home but a 6 at the 17th meant he had to settle for 1st handicap.
