Paul Shields of Kirkhill has birdied the last six holes at Anthem Golf and Country Club, for a 65, to surge into fourth place in this week's All-American Gateway Pro Tour event in Arizona.
Paul is spending six weeks in USA in preparation for the 2014 EuroPro Tour in England.
Paul has had 16 birdies in his first two rounds in the Arizona tournament and would be placed higher but for a poor finish in the first round.
The tournament is over 54 holes and we wish Paul all the best in the final round.
